Probably the coldest city on this list, Minneapolis, Minnesota is a great place to live for any outdoor adventure lover because of its close proximity to plenty of lakes, forests and of course, the Mississippi River. Besides the outdoor activities, this city is home to a great arts scene, ample record shops and great local coffee shops, so hipsters won't ever be bored.

The country's best city for hipsters is also the nation's coffee capital: Seattle, Washington. It's great for biking to work (if you don't mind its penchant for drizzling) and it isn't the most unreasonably priced place to live, either.
