The world is opening up and many countries are making travel easier for visitors who are vaccinated against the coronavirus. Here's a look at some of the notable international destinations fully vaccinated travelers can experience with relative ease this summer. There are a number of destinations open around the world but each comes with its own restrictions and protocols. This list will focus on countries that have adjusted entry requirements specifically for vaccinated travelers.

Anguilla, which plans to end its temporary shutdown on May 25, recently updated travel requirements for fully vaccinated visitors (final dose administered at least 21 days prior to arrival), reducing the length of the stay in place mandate from 14 days to seven days. Travelers will still need to submit a COVID-19 test result 3-5 days prior to their arrival and undergo an additional test at the end of the quarantine period. The Entry Application Fee for fully vaccinated visitors staying fewer than 90 days in a villa or hotel is $300 per person (compared to $600 for unvaccinated visitors) and $200 for each additional person.

As of May 1, fully vaccinated visitors (two weeks after final dose) to the Bahamas do not need to submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to arrival or submit to rapid testing during their stay. However, travelers who are fully vaccinated are still required to apply for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa and upload proof of vaccination with their application. Unvaccinated visitors over the age of 10 must continue to provide proof of a negative test taken no more than five days prior to arrival and are required to undergo rapid COVID-19 antigen testing if staying longer than four nights and five days.

Belize is open to travelers who've been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 so long as they can provide proof of complete vaccination at least two weeks prior to arrival. Meanwhile, unvaccinated visitors over the age of five must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 96 hours prior to travel or a negative rapid antigen test taken no more than 48 hours prior to travel.

Beginning May 15, fully vaccinated travelers visiting the British Virgin Islands will be allowed to travel freely within the territory after producing a negative COVID-19 PCR test result upon arrival. Results are typically received within 24 hours. In addition to proof of vaccination, visitors still need proof of a negative PCR test result taken within five days of travel. Unvaccinated travelers face four days of quarantine upon arrival as well as multiple PCR tests.

Travelers can visit Croatia with proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test taken no more than 48 hours prior to arrival or a medical certificate proving that they have recovered from COVID-19 after having a positive PCR or rapid antigen test result. Entry into Croatia for tourism is only allowed with proof of accommodation paid in full ahead of time.

Travelers from the European Union and several other countries, including the United States, can bypass obstructive COVID-19 testing and quarantine requirements if they can prove to authorities that they've been fully vaccinated starting May 10.

Visitors to Ecuador must present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test completed no more than three days before arrival. Travelers who have been previously diagnosed as COVID positive can also enter if they haven't had symptoms in over one month and can present a medical certificate proving their recovery and current state of good health.

Elsewhere in Europe, Estonia is also making it easier for vaccinated travelers to visit this summer. With proper proof, fully vaccinated arrivals can bypass any COVID-19 testing requirements and an experience-hindering mandatory 10-day quarantine.

Vaccinated travelers can also visit the nation of Georgia with proof that they've received their full dosage while unvaccinated visitors will need to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test result conducted within 72 hours of travel in order to gain entry. Those travelers will need to test again on their third day in the country.

Fully vaccinated travelers from dozens of countries, including the EU, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, Rwanda, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates, can currently visit Greece without needing a negative COVID-19 PCR test. Unvaccinated visitors will need to provide a negative PCR test result produced within 72 hours of arrival. The country is planning to reopen on May 15.

As of May 1, Grenada has reduced the length of the quarantine period for fully vaccinated visitors to the country from four days to 48 hours under the condition that they test negative for the coronavirus after taking a PCR test upon arrival. Visitors must also apply for pre-travel authorization via the Grenada Ministry of Health website and provide proof of a negative PCR test result taken up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

Iceland recently made it easier for fully vaccinated travelers to visit, requiring them to test for COVID-19 upon arrival and wait for results at their accommodation. Results are usually received within 5-6 hours but can take up to 24 hours.

Israel will reopen to vaccinated tour groups as early as May 23 but doesn't plan to open to individual travelers until later this summer, possibly in July. However, a date has yet to be determined. Travelers will be required to produce a negative COVID-19 PCR test result ahead of travel and prove their vaccination upon arrival.

Fully vaccinated travelers (final dose received more than seven days prior to departure) can visit Montenegro this summer. Meanwhile, unvaccinated visitors will need to have proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result produced within 72 hours of departure.

The island nation of Seychelles off the coast of East Africa is open to all travelers regardless of their vaccination status as long as they can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure. Visitors also need to submit a Health Travel Authorization, have reservations at an approved accommodation and purchase travel insurance.

The Islands of Tahiti reopened to international travelers on May 1 and are now allowing fully vaccinated Americans to bypass a 10-day quarantine. Travelers will still need a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours of departure and complete the online ETIS form and declare tourism as their reason for travel between six and 30 days of travel.
