Come celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Flower and Garden Festival! This annual event held at Epcot Centre is a 90-day celebration of springtime featuring topiaries, flowers, fresh fruit and flavorful dishes. The How-To Garden, located in Future World West, provides inspiration for amateur gardeners to take home with them. With gorgeous displays and detailed instructions, even those among us without a green thumb will be ready to get to work in the yard.

Concrete Block Planters

My favorite idea from the How-To Garden was the concrete block planters. It's such a fun and fresh idea that anyone can execute even if you have no DIY skill. I came to Epcot to enjoy the flowers and left ready to start a garden.Schedule

The Honey Bee-Stro Outdoor Kitchen

This outdoor kitchen is an homage to all things honey. Enjoy delectable dishes like Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake while simultaneously supporting the beekeeping industry. You'll find it on the walk toward the World Showcase right before you reach Canada.

Imagination Play Garden

The Imagination Play Garden is the perfect spot for families with young kids to play and discover. This garden features a musical maze and a net climber for the children and chair and benches in the shade surrounded by floral arrangements for the adults.

Discover a giant xylophone, drums, chimes and more hidden in a giant hedge maze made just for kids. Little ones will have a blast being as loud as they want while figuring out the different sounds instruments can make.

Tic Tac Toe in the Garden

The last thing you expect to be doing at Epcot is playing a leisurely game of Tic Tac Toe in the shade while enjoying the scent of spring blossoms. This unexpected corner of the Imagination Play Garden serves as a nice break from the bustle of Disney for adults and kids alike.

Festival Blooms - Presented by FTD

As my husband and I strolled through Future World, we couldn't help but comment on how fragrant the blooms were. We found out it was coming from this gorgeous display. A representative from FTD explained how every color flower has a special meaning.

Future World's East and West Lakes

Just under the monorail and surrounding the East and West Lakes in Future World are thousands of vibrant flowers arranged in various shapes and patterns. The view is stunning and truly gives you a chance to stop and appreciate the magnificence of this spring festival.

Spike's Pollen Nation Exploration

Purchase a map and stickers at a gift shop, the Port of Entry in the World Showcase Plaza, or Pin Central, then hunt for Spike the Honey Bee pollinating flowers around Epcot! Those who find Spike in all 12 locations get a prize when they turn in their map at the Port of Entry.

The Goodness Garden Butterfly House

In Future World West you'll find an exhibit filled with many species of butterflies pollinating the various flowers. If you're patient enough, you might even get a butterfly to perch on your finger! The Butterfly House was a tranquil oasis from the outside crowds and sun.

Butterfly Habitats

Inside the Butterfly House, Disney guests can learn more about the life cycles of butterflies as well as how to create a butterfly habitat at home. It's such a great opportunity for kids to connect with nature while enjoying the magic of Disney World.

Floating Mini-Gardens

Not only are the blooms surrounding the lake breathtaking, but the lakes themselves contain displays of floating flowers to beautify your walk from Future World to the World Showcase. It's clear so much thought was put into every detail of the International Flower and Garden Festival.

Baby Care Center

This spring celebration is meant for the whole family to enjoy, all the way down to the youngest among us. Don't forget to stop and take care of yourself and baby at the Baby Care Center located just outside of Mexico. Now that you've worked up an appetite strolling through the floral displays, stop at Florida Fresh Outdoor Kitchen located between France and Morocco in the World Showcase. This carne guisada with black bean cake and cilantro-lime sour cream was to die for.

Don't leave without your swag! The merchandise for the Flower & Garden Festival is bright and springy with a distinct Florida flare. T-shirts, mugs, tumblers, hats, bags and more are available on site or online.

La Isla Fresca Outdoor Kitchen

Stop for dessert at La Isla Fresca and order the Tropical Mousse Cake. It's layered with passion fruit cake, coconut mouse and tropical fruit glaze with fresh pineapple. Honestly, it tastes like a pi?a colada in dessert form. Perfectly refreshing for warm Florida days.

THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecues and Brews

Make this outdoor kitchen at the American Adventure Pavilion your next stop. Everyone loves to drink their way through Epcot, and this Frozen Lemonade with Blackberry Moonshine will knock your socks off. Non-alcoholic options are available for this fresh beverage.

Beauty and the Beast Topiary

Oh la la! Grab a large chocolate macaron lollipop at the Fleur de Lys popup kitchen in France while you admire this topiary depicting the classic dance scene from Beauty and the Beast.

Crêpes des Chefs de France

While this kiosk is not exclusive to the Flower and Garden Festival, there's never really a bad time to enjoy a French crepe. Might I suggest pairing this light snack with a glass of Kronenbourg Blanc from the Fleur de Lys outdoor kitchen?

Live Entertainment

As you eat and drink your way through the World Showcase you can catch some live entertainment, such as the Groovin' Alps, a three-man percussion band you can find at the Germany pavilion stage. Enjoy the lively folk music with a lager from the Bauernmarkt outdoor kitchen.

Frozen with Anna and Elsa

Your next stop is Norway where you can admire the Anna and Elsa topiary before heading to the Frozen Ever After ride. The kids will love the soundtrack from Frozen as your boat takes you on an adventure through Arrendale. The adults will love the break from the hot sun.

Road to the Florida 500

The path to Test Track will lead you to a play area and garden inspired by Disney-Pixar's Cars movie. Kids can play while parents relax and enjoy the Lightning McQueen topiary before heading into Test Track.

Garden Passport

Don't forget your passport! Take this little booklet with you through your journey around the World Showcase to guide you through everything there is to see and do specific to the Flower and Garden Festival. Add a sticker for checking out topiaries, play gardens, and outdoor kitchens.

Garden Rocks Concert Series
