The U.S. State Department has issued a Level 4 travel advisory for Aruba due to COVID-19 related conditions, encouraging Americans to avoid travel to the island. Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Aruba due to COVID-19 and encourages travelers to take enhanced health and safety measures if must travel to the destination, including getting fully vaccinated, testing, wearing face masks, avoiding crowds and practicing frequent handwashing.

Visitors to Aruba are required to complete the online Embarkation/Disembarkation card process, which includes the following five components: basic traveler information; a personal health assessment; a negative molecular COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of travel; purchasing mandatory Aruba Visitors Insurance for coverage against medical and non-medical expenses in the event of contracting COVID-19 during your stay-travelers age 15 and older will pay a flat premium of $30 while visitors age 14 and under will be charged a flat premium of $10-and consent to Aruba government mandates. Aruba has implemented elevated health and safety protocols in the time of coronavirus, including face mask requirements in indoor public spaces and places where social distancing is not possible, including the airport, shops, museums and inside of taxis or tour buses. As of February 5, a curfew is also in effect between midnight and 5 a.m. Beaches are considered "restricted zones," and thus are off-limits between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Meanwhile, all establishments outside of hotel properties are required to close by 11 p.m. Bars and nightclubs are closed until further notice and restaurant tables must be limited to a maximum of four seats indoors and six seats outdoors.
