Enhanced Health and Safety Protocols
4/6Aruba has implemented elevated health and safety protocols in the time of coronavirus, including face mask requirements in indoor public spaces and places where social distancing is not possible, including the airport, shops, museums and inside of taxis or tour buses. As of February 5, a curfew is also in effect between midnight and 5 a.m. Beaches are considered "restricted zones," and thus are off-limits between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Meanwhile, all establishments outside of hotel properties are required to close by 11 p.m. Bars and nightclubs are closed until further notice and restaurant tables must be limited to a maximum of four seats indoors and six seats outdoors. Visitors are encouraged to download the Aruba Health App, which will keep them informed on the latest COVID-19 health procedures across the island and provide faster results for COVID-19 tests taken in Aruba.
