Millennial-focused travel media platform Earth recently unveiled the world's 10 trendiest travel destinations based on a survey of its Instagram followers as well as Instagram geotags of the 100 most highly followed travel influencers on the social media platform. According to the results, interest in Mexico and Europe is higher than ever.

One of Mexico's most luxurious destinations, Tulum is blowing up on Instagram and inspiring wanderlust in the process. Visitors will not only enjoy five-star resorts but ancient ruins, breath-taking cenotes, picturesque beaches and fabulous restaurants.

Unsurprisingly, Amsterdam ranks No. 2 behind Tulum. The coveted European destination is as charming as they come thanks to its rich history, distinct architecture, stellar foodie scene and impressive art offerings.
