Beach getaways are a favorite among travelers from all over the world. Whether you enjoy laying on the sand, splashing in the water or even just people watching, there's something rejuvenating about making a trip to the water. Inkifi has collected data from Instagram as to what beaches are travelers' favorites by the number of photographs each has posted. Did your favorite make the list?

Known for its white sandy beaches, Skagen Beach in Denmark comes in at number ten on the most photographed beaches around the world list. Popular among European tourists on holiday, the area also boasts some of the "sunniest" hours in all of Denmark.

Chances are high that you've seen the famous Maya Bay beach in Thailand, whether you remember it from the movie "The Beach" or you recognize the emerald green waters from the numerous social media pictures. The beach became so popular that it had to close in 2018 due to overtourism. However, prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the plan is for it to reopen in late 2020, but that may be pushed back to 2021 now.

A popular among bird enthusiasts, Los Roques National Park in Venezuela is well-known for its white sandy beaches and natural pools. This is also a great destination for scuba diving.

An idyllic Mediterranean town, the island of Rab is situated off the coast of northern Croatia. The crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches are enough to attract any tourist, but the area also has water slides, nearby food stalls and an overall family atmosphere.

The first of three Florida beaches to make the list, Panama City Beach is a well-known Spring Break destination for high school and college students and a family favorite during the summer. Travelers love the powdery white sands and clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Located on the Eastern side of Florida, Daytona Beach still has the white sandy beaches most travelers associate with the Sunshine State. But Daytona Beach adds the ability for visitors to actually drive along the beach, making unpacking and packing all your beach gear a breeze.

Bondi Beach comes in at number four on our list and is a favorite spot for those in the Sydney area. The pristine waters host a number of water activities for travelers including paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and more.

Made even more famous by the MTV reality show, Laguna Beach is known for its artistic community, conservation efforts and scenic seaside town located along Hwy 1 in Southern California. Its quintessential southern California vibes make this a top destination for travelers and the beautiful scenery makes the trip well worth it.

Another famous Californian beach, this "Little Venice" even has its very own canals. But this modern and artist community is known more for its numerous street murals and funky boardwalk-all with the Pacific Ocean as a beautiful backdrop, too.

Coming in at number one is the one and only Miami Beach in Florida. Known for its A-List nighttime hotspots, delicious cuisine and pristine beaches, this is a favorite among celebrities and average joes alike.
