Sadly, you can't yet visit the Dagobah System or any other fictional locales. But you can always live vicariously through Hollywood's lens by visiting the actual locations for 2018's best films. The Oscars are coming up. While you have your duty to watch the nominees, we also invite you to consider enjoying where these movies took place.

It took a few places to create the technologically advanced Wakanda, including myriad places through Georgia and the Iguazu Falls, Argentina. You can also visit Iguazu and enjoy the majesty of the falls, and you don't even have to battle for a claim to the throne.

Like we said, Black Panther took on a lot in production. But it was worth it by utilizing a few magical locations, such as Busan, South Korea, which is just one of the country's must-see destinations. One of the shots here included the thrilling car chase.

If you want to take a gander at Colorado Springs, we encourage you to do just that. However, if you want to enjoy the city in the 1970s, you will either need to invent time travel or merely traipse on over to Ossining, New York. The town did its own acting as a different city from 40 years ago.

Similarly, you will need a DeLorean with a flux capacitor to experience the old Wembley Stadium. Or, you visit Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire, which helped recreate the iconic stadium for this movie. Other than that, the sights throughout this hypnotic movie utilized the hustle and bustle of London, a fantastic city.

One of this year's more renowned films, "The Favourite" needed a lavish backdrop to tell Queen Anne's story. Filmmakers not only used Hampton Court Palace but did a great deal of production at the always inviting Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.

While Carnegie Hall makes a cameo, this movie takes full advantage of Louisiana and all it has to offer. The movie was shot all over the place, including Tulane University, International House in New Orleans, Aloha Motel in Metairie, Ruby's Roadhouse in Mandeville and, of course, the French Quarter.

Stunning is a word you might use to describe this sweeping movie heralded for its cinematography. You could say the same for Mexico City, which is where this story of unrest takes place. You will find this special place can be just as powerful and intimate as the subject matter.

Nominated for eight Oscars, "A Star is Born" is a brief look at one musician on the rise and another on his way out. Through it all, the film tours some of Southern California's more recognizable venues such as the Greek Theatre, the Shrine Auditorium, Coachella Valley and Empire Polo Club where Stagecoach was held.

Vincent van Gogh spent some of his final days dealing with his demons in a verdant and lush part of France. For their retelling of this legendary painter's life, producers decided on treading haunts familiar to the maestro himself. Even Auvers-sur-Oise, where van Gogh is entombed, makes an appearance in this gorgeous film.

Glenn Close gets much-deserved recognition for her role as a woman at a pivotal moment in her marriage. Audiences are captivated thanks to performances from Close and Jonathan Pryce as well as locations seen throughout Stockholm and Scotland, including the National Museum of Flight, Hutcheson's Hall in Glasgow and the historic and intoxicating lands of Dumfries.

I wouldn't recommend going the forgery route like Lee Israel in the movie "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" However, you can visit some of the places that pop up in the movie that garnered Melissa McCarthy an Oscar nod. You can even walk through the old school bookstore in the movie at Argosy on 59th Street.

In a relatively small area, New York City packs a universe of diversity into its confines. Filmmakers were able to carve out a unique area that still had a decades-old glow about it. The New York Post explains how production designer Mark Friedberg dug past a gentrified Harlem to uncover the past.

Pawel Pawlikowski is up for best director but should also be recognized for his ability to shoot black and white and still bring vibrant life to the locations. Not only was Poland and France used but also Split, Croatia, a coastal area we can't recommend enough.

The Coen brothers again accomplished a riveting film, this time capturing a sweeping and exhausting shoot that took place over three states. The anthology tells several distinct stories, most of which shot on location in Nebraska and New Mexico. However, the gorgeous scenes in All Gold Canyon are actually Telluride, Colorado.

Caleb Deschanel is nominated for the film's cinematography in this gripping tale of love and secrets. Filmmakers certainly bring Germany to life, hopping among Berlin, Dusseldorf and Dresden. The latter is reason enough to book your trip to this magical part of the world.

If you enjoy sweaty palms and shouting "Nope!" at the screen, we recommend this phenomenal documentary of free solo maestro Alex Honnold as he dominates the face of El Capitan in Yosemite. Thankfully, you can enjoy this place without scaling cliffs while you disregard the aid of ropes.

Up for best foreign language film, Capernaum is as real as any movie gets to its subject matter. Beirut and its inhabitants are more than a backdrop but a vital aspect of this powerful movie that NPR explains is a "reflection of Beirut as it is today."

Yet another foreign language nominee, Shoplifters tells the tale of a Japanese family opening their home in a most unexpected way. The movie is shot throughout Tokyo, which can be a daunting city to undertake. Thankfully, we are here to help.

Unfortunately, we can't yet travel to the moon. Although that would be nice for vacation or, say, to shoot on location for a movie about humanity's furthest trip. We can, however, enjoy one location of the movie in the form of Cape Canaveral. Just don't expect to take off when you get there.

I understand if you didn't quite appreciate the beauty surrounding the characters in "A Quiet Place" as you were too busy trying not to whisper in the theater. But upon second viewing you will notice a quaint slice of America filmed all over New York. Remember, this state is far more than just its famous city.

The return of everyone's favorite nanny was based largely in the studio. That said, there are plenty of shots taken around the London area, including the City of London. But you will most definitely recognize St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London.

This historical film received a nod for its makeup and hair, but its settings will have you in awe as well. It's a veritable journey around Scotland and England, including locations such as the Arborfield Barn at the Chiltern Open Air Museum in Buckinghamshire, Edinburgh, Cairn Gorm National Park in Scotland and both Oxfordshire and Derbyshire in England.

The movie highlights the beauty of Windsor Great Park. But it also included a nod to the source material as filmmakers also spent time filming at Ashdown Forest, which is where author A.A Milne used as inspiration for the now iconic Winnie the Pooh.

Any Star Wars movie is bound to look stunning. Such is the case for "Solo: A Star Wars Story." Han Solo traipsed our real world from England to Italy to Spain, where some of the movie was filmed in the Canary Islands. The location doubled as the planet Savareen.

Much like the Marvel cinematic universe, the latest installment of Tony Stark and pals took over the world. And we nearly mean that literally when it comes to filming locations, which included the Tallulah Falls in Georgia, good ol' New York City, the Banaue Rice Terraces in the Philippines, which doubled as Thanos' sanctuary post-snap, and Edinburgh, Scotland.
