The six-minute panoramic pre-show is projected along 360-degree wraparound walls in addition to a hanging medallion-like centerpiece screen allowing guests to see and hear from all angles.

Comparable to Disney's iconic Soarin' ride-it should be noted that FlyOver's Creative Director Rick Rothschild is a former Disney Imagineer and considered the founding father of flight rides-FlyOver relies on a 52-foot spherical screen and a cutting-edge moving platform producing six degrees of motion as well as special effects including wind and mist to transport riders to some of the most picturesque and hard-to-reach places on the planet. Beyond the vibrant visuals, guests will be made to feel as if they're actually soaring through the sky, swooping down low through canyons, tracking surfers above massive waves off the California coast and even smelling gunpowder at a Western film shoot.

Inspired by its location in the heartbeat of Nevada, "The Real Wild West" takes riders over a plethora of diverse landscapes, including some of America's most coveted and iconic national parks and sites such as the Grand Canyon, Utah's Zion National Park, Monument Valley in Arizona, Lake Tahoe, the Mojave Desert and, of course, the Las Vegas Strip, among others. Every scene was shot from the unique viewpoint of a helicopter using imposing high definition video cameras to make guests feel as if they're weightless and experiencing these magnificent landscapes for themselves. Riders can also experience the land of fire and ice, Iceland, like few have before during FlyOver's "Iceland" show. This similarly inspiring journey will propel guests over sprawling glaciers, intimidating volcanoes and blissful waterfalls en route to a dramatic finale celebrating the unwavering spirit and determination of the Icelandic people.

Whether stopping by before or after your show, The Lost Cactus generates a relaxing vibe powerful enough to transport you to the Wild West with an impressive menu of signature cocktails and bite-size snacks. Examples include the "Durango to Silverton," a unique take on the Old Fashioned that utilizes hickory smoke syrup in an ode to a much simpler time when train travel ruled.
