Low-cost carrier
Avelo Airlines has just announced the largest expansion to date, introducing 18
new nonstop routes, including the airline's very first international
destinations. This significant growth sees Avelo extending operations at its
existing Connecticut and Central Florida
bases, and launching new services to Montego Bay, Jamaica,
and Cancun,
Mexico.
With these latest
additions, Avelo will serve a total of 52 destinations spanning 23 U.S. states,
Puerto
Rico, Jamaica, and Mexico. Starting this autumn, Avelo will begin operating
these new routes twice weekly. The expansion effort also includes establishing
dual operations at Hartford, Connecticuts Bradley International Airport (BDL),
where the airline will base two aircraft. To celebrate this momentous milestone,
the carrier is offering one-way fares at introductory prices of as low as $52
while supply lasts. Reservations are already open for booking on Avelos website.?
The expansion we
are announcing today is the most substantial in our airlines three-year
history, said Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy. Avelos purpose is
to Inspire Travel, and the addition of 18 new routes and our first two
international destinations will make getting where our Customers want to go
easier than ever. Couple this with our industry-leading reliability and its no
surprise over five million people have chosen to fly Avelo. Adding more
airplanes and destinations, I am very excited about the momentum and growth we
are seeing across our business. And with three consecutive profitable quarters,
Avelo is positively positioned for even more growth in the future across our
network.
Levy?added,
As we enter the second half of 2024, Avelo continues to distinguish itself as
Americas most reliable airline. Our Customers can count on Avelo to get them
where they want to go more reliably than any other airline. And when you couple
this with the ease and speed of the small hometown airports we fly to, there is
not a more seamless way to travel than Avelo. I appreciate the relentless
commitment to operational excellence our 1,000 Avelo Crewmembers exemplify
every day that is fueling our industry-leading performance.
