If you’re among
those looking to make your summer vacation locale in the U.K., Europe or
beyond this year, you’re in luck. With its latest flight sale, British
Airways is making transoceanic travel more affordable this summer.
?
Offering
discounted fares on routes from 26 U.S. cities to various international
destinations, the airline's sale runs until 11:59 p.m. ET on June 11. These
limited-time bargains extend to popular spots across the United
Kingdom, Europe,
Dubai
and India.
Specific travel dates and blackout periods vary depending on the destination
and cabin class.
“For those
dreaming of jetting away this summer—it’s not too late,” Colm Lacy, British
Airways Chief Commercial Officer, said in a statement shared with Travel
+ Leisure. “The British Airways sale includes flight savings to exciting
destinations across the UK, Europe, Dubai and India, and big discounts on
vacation packages. There’s never been a better time to book that special trip
and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
Highlights of the
sale include roundtrip fares from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago,
Miami and more to London, starting at $548 in Economy. You can find even cheaper
Economy fares from major U.S. gateways to other destinations—including
Barcelona, Milan, Athens and Lisbon—for as low as $396 roundtrip.?

Premium Economy and Business-class travelers can also find deals through the current promotion. Roundtrip Premium fares to London from New York, Boston or Los Angeles start at $1,212. Business-class flyers can travel to the British capital from New York for as low as $2,511, from Boston starting at $2,548, or from Los Angeles starting at $3,598.
This sale includes flights to the U.K. and Europe operated by British Airways and its Oneworld Alliance partners, such as American Airlines, Iberia, and Finnair.
Additionally, the
sale offers up to $600 off vacation packages. For instance, travelers can book
a flight and five-night hotel stay from New York to London starting at $759 per
person or, alternatively, a five-night hotel and flight package to Rome
starting at $829 per person.
The timing of the
sale coincides with British Airways and JetBlue submitting a codeshare
agreement to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). If approved, this
agreement would complement British Airways' existing codeshare partnerships
with American Airlines and Alaska
Airlines.
