Sunrise Airways is the latest regional Caribbean airline to
introduce expanded routes in 2024. The carriers new intra-regional
flights beginning May 25 will connect four Caribbean destinations: Antigua and
Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.
The new Sunrise flights will operate six days per week
(every day except Tuesday). Two daily flights will operate from Antigua and
Barbuda to Dominica and from Antigua and Barbuda to St. Kitts and Nevis.
A third flight will operate once daily between Antigua and St.
Lucia. The service will utilize Embraer 120 twin-turboprop aircraft with a
maximum seating capacity of 30 passengers.
With two rotations per day, our new Antigua, Dominica and
St. Kitts flights offer travelers in those markets tremendous flexibility, said
Philippe Bayard, Sunrises chairman and CEO. This creates exciting new options
for multi-destination travel.
At the same time, our new AntiguaCSt. Lucia service stands
out as the only direct flight connecting two of the Caribbeans most popular
tourist destinations, added Bayard.
Sunrises expanded flight schedule follows the carriers
October 2023 launch of its first-ever flights to Miami from Cap Haitien, Haiti.
The carrier also serves another 12 gateways across six Caribbean and Central
American destinations: Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Panama
City and St. Maarten.
