Just in time for summer travel season, Delta
Airlines has announced its most comprehensive app update since 2019.
Beginning
May 7, 2024, customers can download the Delta 6.0 App via the App Store and
Google Play. Along with more features,
functionality and shopping experiences, the app is packed with improvements to
help customers save time, explore new destinations and manage their travel even
when the unexpected happens.
The app offers a slate of new and updated features that
reimagine how customers engage with Delta and stay connected and informed. This
includes an all-new Help Center view, always-available access to boarding
information and connectivity to the airlines Virtual Assistant. In early
summer 2024, customers will also be able to utilize their Delta SkyMiles
credentials from their Fly Delta App to seamlessly connect to Delta Sync Wi-Fi
onboard.
The Fly Delta app connects customers to the full Delta
experience, from inspiring travel and navigating a trip to seamlessly accessing
exclusive partner experiences and content, said Eric Phillips, S.V.P. and
Chief Digital Officer. He added, This 6.0 update brings the Delta difference
to customers no matter where they are on their journey.
According to Delta, from home to destination, 85
percent of Delta SkyMiles Members on average rely on the industry-leading Fly
Delta app when traveling. With more than one billion unique app engagements in
2023, the updates coming to Fly Delta have an opportunity to create more
meaningful, connected and elevated moments as customers embark on their summer
travel plans.
