Southwest Airlines is offering summer and fall flights for as low as $39 one-way this week.
The discounted seats are available to book in select markets now through Friday, July 25, 2025.
The four-day sale is noteworthy in that it's the last the low-cost carrier will offer before opening up bookings with seat assignments later this month.
Starting July 29, 2025, travelers will have access to Southwest's new assigned seating policy, which will take effect on January 27, 2026.
The dramatic shift from its polarizing open seating policy coincides with the elimination of its popular "Bags Fly Free" offering, which went into effect this past May.
Travelers looking to capitalize on this week's sale will find the best deals when flying between the airline's operating bases in cities like Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando and Phoenix, among others.
Blackout dates apply and customers will have to purchase their discounted ticket 21 days ahead of departure.
