Southwest Airlines Co. announced it would be redesigning its aircraft with new seats and other enhancements to help modernize its flying experience.?
New aircraft seats designed by RECARO will bring a more modern style to Southwests planes. Features of these seats will include a multi-adjustable headrest cushion and a personal electronic device holder.?
Tangerine, a leading design company for the transportation sector, will update Southwests cabin interiors on new aircraft, coming next year. The design will feature deep blues with sky blue accents, along with the airlines Southwest Heart as a pattern.

Additionally, Southwests 53,000 employees will be receiving new uniforms, designed by apparel vendor Design Collective by Cintas, uniform brand consultant and fashion stylist Bonnie Markel and a collection of 75 Southwest employees. There is no date for when the new uniforms will debut.?

"Our redesigned cabin interior significantly enhances our inflight customer experience and will complement the amazing service that our crews provide."
