United Airlines just made its largest international expansion in the its history, with new service to eight cities across the globe starting May, 2025.?
United will launch five new nonstop flights from Newark/New York to Nuuk, Greenland; Palermo, Italy; Bilbao, Spain; Madeira Island, Portugal and Faro, Portugal. The airline will also launch new nonstop routes from Washington D.C./Dulles to Dakar, Senegal; Nice, France; and Venice, Italy.
The airline has been expanding its international capacity; its 2025 summer transatlantic schedule will offer over 760 weekly flights, another historic number for United.?
Additionally, United is adding new direct flights from Tokyo-Narita to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Kaohsiung. Its the only U.S. airline serving these destinations. A new nonstop flight from Tokyo to Koror, Palau, will also be on offer.?
All future routes are subject to governmental approval.?
