Virgin
Atlantic has revealed plans to open its newest Clubhouse at Los Angeles
International Airport (LAX) in early 2025, bringing the airlines signature
luxury lounge experience to the West Coast. Located in the Tom Bradley
International Terminal, the Clubhouse will serve as a premium space for
passengers to unwind, dine and connect before boarding their
flights to London and beyond. And, its close proximity to the airlines
departure gates ensures that travelers can make the most of their time before
boarding.
?
The new LAX
Clubhouse will showcase many of Virgin Atlantics hallmark characteristics,
including a spacious bar and social area, table-service dining and flexible
seating options for passengers to work, relax, or dine. A special VIP area,
called "The Royal Box," will offer an exclusive space for those
seeking a more private experience.?
Virgin Atlantic will
exalt the City
of Angels by adorning the Clubhouse with local artwork and design elements that
reflect the citys singularly coastal, laid-back vibe. Inspired by California
sunsets, the lounges lighting is designed to help travelers unwind, in
combination with pre-sleep rituals aimed at optimizing passengers circadian
rhythms. All of this has been designed for the particular purpose of promoting
mindfulness and relaxation, preparing passengers for a peaceful flight.
Designed with
modern travelers in mind, the Clubhouse will also offer wireless charging,
Bluetooth connectivity and ample power outlets. These amenities will be
available throughout the lounge, including at the bar and within private pods,
making it easy for guests to stay connected and productive while awaiting their
flight.
To further enhance
the pre-flight experience, the lounge will feature showers and changing rooms for
those who feel the need to freshen up before continuing on their air travel
journey. As it already is at the airline's award-winning London Heathrow
Clubhouse, the cocktail bar will be a focal point, with in-house mixologists
serving up the brands signature drink, the Virgin Redhead, along with other
customer favorites.
"We're
thrilled to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant, entertainment
capital of?Los Angeles, where we know business and leisure travelers alike
will enjoy our experience before their flight across the pond, said Virgin Atlantics
Chief Customer & Operating Officer, Corneel Koster. "Our latest
Clubhouse will have something special for every customer, from signature
dishes?to British designer finishes, plus some fun surprises you'd only
expect from Virgin Atlantic. And we know our amazing teams will bring the
experience to life brilliantly."?
Virgin Atlantics
Clubhouses have earned numerous accolades, including the 2024 Skytrax World
Airline Awards recognition for Best Business Class Lounge in Europe and the
Newsweek Readers Choice Award for Best Airport Lounge. The LAX Clubhouse
promises to uphold this legacy, offering travelers a luxurious space with
uniquely British design touches and a few surprises that only Virgin Atlantic
could provide.
