In a scene straight out of the movie "Bridesmaids," an Australian woman mixed alcohol and drugs aboard a Virgin Australia flight with disturbing results.
The incident is just one of many cautionary tales involving out-of-control air travelers.
According to the Daily Breeze, the FBI has charged 32-year-old Amy Louise McHugh with interfering with an airline crew after she allegedly attacked flight attendants aboard the 12-hour flight from Brisbane to Los Angeles on October 18.
The FBI affidavit details McHugh's bizarre behavior, which she blamed on four glasses of wine and a double dosage of her antihistamines. She said she took the drugs to sleep and doesn't remember what happened.
According to the report, three hours in into the flight, a male passenger woke up to find McHugh sitting on his lap, unzipping her sweatshirt and telling him "I'll make it worth your while."
Later, the Melbourne native appeared unresponsive while walking backward down the aisle. McHugh then threw her headphones at a flight attendant who came to check on her.
She was escorted to an empty row but became upset when flight attendants wouldn't let her leave the seat. McHugh's accused of scratching one of the crew member's arms and attempting to bite another. She also threw headphones at another passenger during the scuffle.
McHugh was eventually handcuffed after crying and trying to open cabinets in the rear galley. Flight attendants later restrained her feet after she kicked one of them in the back, knocking them to the floor.
The affidavit alleges McHugh, who was screaming profanities while trying to free herself, didn't calm down until one hour before landing.

FBI agents met the flight at Los Angeles International Airport and McHugh was taken into custody. She has since been released on bail.
A 23-year-old man blamed a similar outburst aboard a recent Delta Air Lines flight from Seattle to Beijing on edible marijuana while another attributed his disconcerting in-flight behavior aboard an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu on a butterfly hallucination.
