Amtrak is offering a new limited-time sale for travelers heading from Lorton, Virginia, to Sanford, Florida, on its Auto Train, with Coach Class tickets starting at $34 per person.?
Now through March 28, travelers can enjoy one-way $34 per person Coach Class fares or a First Class private room for $235. Tickets for kids aged 2-12 start at $17. Travelers can enjoy the fares for travel from April 8 through June 30, 2024.?
The Auto Trains route begins in Lorton, near Washington, D.C. and ends in Sanford, near Orlando, Florida. Travelers can save on Coach Class seats, or enjoy a discounted Roomette or Bedroom option.?
Roomettes offer private rooms with two seats that transform into bunk-style beds, while Bedrooms offer an in-room sink, restroom and shower, with double the space of a Roomette. Both of these categories are considered First Class, which includes priority boarding, a dedicated attendant and complimentary meals onboard.?

During the last half of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, Amtraks ridership level was only 3 percent lower than it had been in 2019, and it hopes to continue the positive growth this year.?
