Amtrak announced a new flash sale to help travelers looking
to book a rail trip save money on their adventure this spring.
Dubbed the Amtrak Spring Travel Flash Sale, customers can save
at least 25 percent off the Flex Fare price when they book through February 23
for travel between March 1 and May 23.
The timing of the Spring Travel Flash Sale is perfect for
those seeking a stress-free family trip, friends getaway or spring break
escape, Amtrak
Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Eliot Hamlisch said.
Whether riding through the Northeast on Acela Business Class
or to cities like Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Seattle via Coach class,
rail travelers can experience wide, reclining seats with plenty of legroom, no
middle seats, and large windows to enjoy the view.?
With no shortage of destinations to visit across the
country, customers can save on trips ahead of the summer travel season, Hamlisch
continued.?

Earlier this month, Amtrak started using self-check-in
technology on a limited number of its Acela trains in the Northeast. The
new process, which is accessed through the Amtrak app, allows passengers to
validate their train tickets once onboard the train.
