Now, visitors can enjoy seamless travel by train and on foot with Eurail. The train pass will now include discounts on Sandemans New Europe walking tours to its list of benefits for travelers.
"At Eurail, we strive to offer our customers additional high-value benefits in order to make their journey an unforgettable experience," said Silvia Fischer, sales and marketing director for Eurail Group. "Connecting with the local culture and people is fundamental to the motivations behind many of our travelers' Eurail journeys, and Sandemans was a natural fit in making these unforgettable experiences happen."
The partnership with Eurail will streamline an experience that was already quite popular with travelers.
"We are very excited to be partnering with Eurail," said Stephanie Taylor-Carrillo, partner relations and communications director for Sandemans New Europe. "Over the 15 years we have been operating in Europe, we have seen a large number of Eurail guests on our tours. We're delighted to now be able to offer those guests an additional benefit for joining Sandemans tours, and to make that natural connection between Eurail and Sandemans even stronger."
Sandemans offers more than 90 different tours, operating over 500 daily in 17 destinations, including some of the most popular cities visited by train such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona and Paris. The tours are available in English and Spanish, and in some places, German.
Reservations can be made after booking a Eurail pass on Eurail.com or through the Eurail Rail Planner app, where travelers will find other benefits offered to pass holders, including discounts on city cards, ferry rides, accommodations, museums, and more.
