Carnival Cruise Line will offer its first solar eclipse cruise in August 2026.
The company unveiled a snapshot of its 2026-27 deployment plans today, including the special solar eclipse voyage aboard Carnival Legend. Departing from Dover, England, on August 9, 2026, the ship will be at sea during the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.?
Additional stops on the 11-day sailing are: Le Havre (Paris), France; St. Peter Port, Guernsey; Vigo, Spain; Lisbon and Leix?es (Porto), Portugal; Le Verdon (Bordeaux), France; and Zeebrugge (Brussels), Belgium.

Beyond the eclipse voyage, Carnival shared more details about summer 2026 sailings in Europe and Alaska. Carnival Legend will spend the summer season in Europe, visiting destinations in England, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Croatia, Germany, Denmark and many others.
Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit, meanwhile, will spend the summer of 2026 sailing between Seattle and Alaska.
The cruise line also unveiled four new Carnival Journeys voyages that will transit the Panama Canal. These are repositioning cruises for Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit as they head to and from Alaska for the season.
