Carnival Cruise Lines Carnival Radiance ship returned to service in Long Beach, California on October 4 following a renovation of many of its public areas during a dry dock period.?
Carnival Radiance, which debuted in 2000 as the Carnival Victory but was later upgraded into a Sunshine Class ship and renamed, now offers guests new youth areas, sports facilities such as a mini golf course and ropes course and more.
The vessel also updated its Carnival Adventures store, gift shops and onboard casino.?
The ship, which can accommodate just under 3,000 guests, features many of the cruise lines staple dining venues, such as the RedFrog Pub, BlueIguana Cantina, Guys Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse and Shaqs Big Chicken.
The ship also received several technical updates during its dry dock period.?
It's sailing year-round from Long Beach, California, offering a selection of 3-6-day voyages to Baja Mexico and the Mexican Riviera. In 2025, the ship will offer six 14-day Carnival Journey sailings to Hawaii, visiting Maui, Honolulu, Kauai and Hilo.
