Celestyal Journey is back on the water with a fresh new look.
The 1,260-guest ship is once again sailing in the Arabian Gulf after a $6.8 million refresh in Dubai.?
Celestyal Journey has a new livery, featuring the brands signature hull wave and stars. It now matches Celestyal Discovery. Crews also painted the vessels submerged surfaces with silicon paint and updated the power management system to improve its efficiency.
Were thrilled our beloved ship Celestyal Journey has returned to service, looking and performing better than ever, says Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal Cruises. The new livery makes it instantly recognizable as a Celestyal ship, while the technical upgrades will ensure it provides a smooth sailing experience for all who sail on her.
Celestyal Journey is currently sailing the lines Desert Days itinerary round trip from Doha, Qatar. The ship will remain in the Arabian Gulf through early March, before repositioning to Athens for the start of the Greece and Mediterranean season.
On April 12, Celestyal Journey will sai round trip from Athens on the new Heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia itinerary, which calls at Kefalonia, Greece; Kotor, Montenegro; Bari, Italy; Corfu, and Katakolo, Greece; with an overnight in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The vessel will then return to the Arabian Gulf in December.
Weve seen phenomenal demand for our Arabian Gulf itineraries, with our last three Doha-Doha sailings operating at full capacity, says Haslett. Overall, since launching the program, were 35% above target for sailed guests, which demonstrates a real desire to explore this beautiful part of the world on our intimate, mid-sized ships.
