Travelers hoping to explore the Last Frontier can now book luxury Alaska cruises with Cunard for 2025.
Bookings are now open for Cunards 2025 Alaska season, which features roundtrip sailings from Seattle. The cruise line first offered the voyages this morning to members of its loyalty program, Cunard World Club, and will open bookings to members of the public tomorrow.?
"We are incredibly excited to offer guests the new opportunity of sailing roundtrip into Alaska from Seattle, says Katie McAlister, Cunards president, in todays announcement. Due to strong guest demand, Cunard is offering a full summer season in Alaska, allowing travelers to delve into the region's wildlife and visit extraordinary cities, with extended time in port to fully appreciate this captivating destination."
Cunards 2025 Alaska season will run from June 12 to Sept. 25 aboard Queen Elizabeth. The vessel will make 11 journeys to Alaska from Seattle, with trips ranging from a week to 11 nights in length.
Guests and travel advisors who book with Cunard will have lots of time to explore ports like Sitka and Ketchikan, as the sailings include several late evening departures. Several guests will also join the 2025 cruises and share their stories with guests: mountaineer Kenton Cool, polar skier Preet Chandi and wildlife filmmaker Doug Allen.
Cruisers will also be able to learn about the Great Land while sailing through its majestic landscapes, as each sailing will have a cultural heritage guide and a naturalist onboard. Food and drink menus on Queen Elizabeth will also draw inspiration from Alaskan culture and the surrounding wilderness.
Queen Elizabeth is one of three ships in the Cunard fleet. The 965-foot-long vessel can accommodate up to 2,081 passengers and 911 crew members.
Next year, Cunard will add another ship to its fleet: Queen Anne, which is set to launch in May.
