HX, soon to be formerly known as Hurtigruten Expeditions, announced
the cruise line’s 2025-2026 season, introducing new ports, landings, and
itineraries.
The 2025-2026 season will showcase over 80 itineraries
across five continents, building on HX’s reputation for creating new travel
experiences in key expedition regions, including Alaska, Antarctica, Greenland
and the Northwest Passage.
HX will also further establish its footprint in warm waters
following its inaugural season in West Africa, launching this month, and the
successful introduction of three new Galápagos Islands itineraries in 2023.
“With 130 years of heritage in expedition cruising, we have
more experience to draw on than any other operator,” HX Chief Commercial
Officer Alex Delamere-White said.
“Our continued investment in the regions and experiences we
know best has created a firm foundation,” Delamere-White continued. “This
heritage, combined with our product teams’ dedication to fostering connections
with the people and places we visit, will lead to our strongest season yet.”
In September, Hurtigruten Expeditions revealed it would
rebrand to usher in a new era of sustainability and adventure travel under
a new identity, HX. The expedition cruise line will be rebranding beginning
in December 2023 with a new name and logo across all its channels and media.
Hurtigruten Norway, which dates back to 1893, will also
change its name to just Hurtigruten. Livery repainting on its ships will also
be implemented within the next 18 months to reflect the change.
