MSC Cruises is unveiling more details about its newest ship, MSC World America, including features and amenities designed for families.
When it debuts in April 2025, the 6,762-guest ship will have the largest Doremiland kids area in the entire MSC Cruises fleet, spanning more than 10,000 square feet across seven different rooms.
The vessel will also feature new experiences created in partnership with Lego, including a master builder area, a Lego-themed game show and the first Lego parade at sea.
The ship will have seven distinct districts, including Family Aventura, a space designed specifically for kids and families. The focal point of Family Aventura is The Harbour, an outdoor park with a high ropes course, a new gravity-defying Cliffhanger attraction, a playground modeled after the lighthouse at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and more.
Other new amenities include Boxes, a family-friendly game show with mystery boxes that contain blind challenges; a new version of the Doremix Family Disco; a teen-friendly adventure course called Star Shooters; a virtual reality experience; and more.
MSC World America will also feature fan-favorite elements from other ships, including the Sportplex area, Guinness World Record Family Quiz, MasterChef at Sea Juniors and others.
We set ourselves the goal to create the most exceptional kids and family offering at sea with MSC World America, says Steve Leatham, head of entertainment for MSC Cruises. Our aim is to give our younger guests the freedom to express their creativity, play, socialize and explore with amazing spaces and programs that have to be seen to be believed.?
