The Oceania Cruises’ Allura cruise ship’s debut has been delayed.?
The ship was scheduled to set sail in May of 2025 but already the?first six sailings of that summer have been canceled.?
Affected guests have been notified by Oceania Cruises.?
"We have been?informed by the shipyard that?Allura’s delivery will be delayed. As a result, we will need to cancel her scheduled sailings in June and July of next year," the notification read.?
The June 8, June 15, June 25, July 7, July 17, and July 29 itineraries – all in 2025 – have now been canceled.? They were set to visit ports including in Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Malta and Egypt, among others.?
"All booked guests?will automatically receive a 100% refund of their now-cancelled cruise, with?“a special rebook offer on a future sailing," according to the notification.?
The new maiden voyage of the ship will now depart Athens on July 24, 2025.?
The cruise line said further adjustments to its schedule are possible but guests originally booked?on?Allura?have more than a year to change their itineraries.?
