Princess Cruises is giving travelers a new way to stay connected on vacation.
The cruise line is launching a new tier of onboard Wi-FI service called MedallionNet Max, which will give guests priority access to the highest quality and highest performance bandwidth available. MedallionNet Max will be available as part of the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages.
Another tier, MedallionNet Classic, will offer the same service available to guests today. MedallionNet Classic will be available a la carte for $24.99 per day for a single device or $44.99 per day for multiple devices.?
The service tier will be assigned according to each guest's package. Both tiers will be available through the same single guest network to eliminate any confusion.

To celebrate the launch of MedallionNet Max, Princess is hosting a user-generated content competition using a custom Minecraft world. The contest, called Princess Cruises Nautical Quest, will feature 32 of the worlds most popular UGC players. Eight of the competitors will be onboard Enchanted Princess in the Caribbean, while the 24 others will play from land. Its believed to be the UGC contest held at sea and on land.
