Princess Cruises will be sending its newest ship, Star Princess, to Alaska in 2026.
The cruise line has unveiled its full line-up of 2026 Alaska voyages, which includes 180 departures on eight ships visiting 19 destinations. ?
2026 will reinforce Princess leadership in Alaska vacations, says John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. Whether youre a first-time cruiser or a seasoned traveler, Princess is the ultimate choice for luxury and adventure, with awe-inspiring glaciers, unforgettable wildlife encounters and the freshest seafood imaginable.
Star Princess, which is scheduled to set sail in the fall of 2025, will be the first Sphere Class ship to sail in Alaska. Star Princess will be the second Sphere Class ship in the Princess fleet, following on the heels of sister ship Sun Princess, which launched this spring.
Bookings for the 2026 Alaska season open August 1. Guests who book before September 2 can enjoy Princess "Better Than Best Price Guarantee," which offers the best rates and 120 percent of the price difference as an onboard credit if they find a lower rate before they make the final payment.?
The deployment of the magnificent Star Princess to Alaska for the first time will offer guests unprecedented views, luxurious accommodations and the finest food, beverages and entertainment ever seen in the Great Land, says Padgett. In 2026, Princess will offer departures from five ports: Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, B.C., Los Angeles and Whittier.
Travelers will be able to sail through Glacier Bay National Park, explore destinations along the Inside Passage and visit the Alaska interior with a cruisetour. In 2026, Princess will offer more than 20 cruisetour options, including visits to Denali National Park and stays at Princess-owned wilderness lodges.
Shore excursions range from helicopter rides to whale-watching expeditions. Guests can also fish for their dinner with the Cook My Catch experience. Back onboard, travelers can learn about Alaskas history, culture and landscapes during naturalist talks, a planetarium Northern Lights experience and more.?
