Princess Cruises has revealed new details about its newest ship, Sky Princess. Set to debut in October 2019, the ship will include the line's first Sky Suites.
Located on the ship's top decks, the Sky Suites can accommodate five guests. They feature 270-degree panoramic views and the largest private balconies offered by Princess. In fact, the balconies will give guests a private viewing spot for watching the Movie Under the Stars screen.
"Our two new Sky Suites reflect Princess Cruises' continued commitment to offer new and expansive accommodations that meet the needs of our guests who wish to explore the world in ultimate comfort," said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises.
Sky Princess will make her debut in the Mediterranean. She'll include the popular features of her three sister ships, Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess. New design elements include the Wakeview pool on the aft decks, two new deep-tank top deck pools, a Retreat Pool and two Jacuzzis cantilevered over the deep-tank pools.
The Sky Princess Sanctuary area will include twice as many cabanas as its sister ships. The signature Vista Lounge on Sky Princess will sport a new look, complete with a full bar. And, a new caf in the Princess Live venue will feature barista-made coffee, tea, and quick bites.
