Travelers sailing to Antarctica with Quark Expeditions next season can sip free drinks and surf the web while gazing out at passing icebergs and watching for whales. The expedition travel company is offering complimentary Wi-Fi and alcohol to all guests starting with its 2024-25 Antarctica season, it announced today.
Called the "Raise a Glass and Stay Connected Free" campaign, the new offerings are intended to elevate the cruise lines unwavering commitment to world-class services, says Beth Mercier, Quark Expeditions senior director of global partnership sales.
Our free bar service complements the exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, unique off-ship adventure options and rejuvenating spa experiences that resonate with our guests, she says. In addition, Quark Expeditions' guests can now share these extraordinary expedition moments with family and friends in real-time through our complimentary Wi-Fi." ??
Starting in November 2024, all guests can enjoy free cocktails, beer, standard wines and spirits during bar service hours and dinner. Each guest will also be able to use the ship's Wi-Fi service on one device at a time. The free Wi-Fi will be fast enough for basic internet browsing and voice applications. Travelers who need faster speeds can purchase premium packages.
"We invite all guests, as of our Antarctic 2024/25 season, to raise a glass and stay connected as our seasoned team continues to craft seamless and enriching experiences for polar explorers," says Mercier.
Quark specializes in polar travel and sails to the Arctic and the Antarctic. Next season, its Antarctic cruises will be offered aboard its ships Ultramarine, World Explorer and Ocean Explorer, which are small expedition ships that can accommodate between 128 and 199 guests.?
