Royal Caribbean International is sharing more details about its forthcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas.
To bring the destination to life by late 2025, the cruise line has tapped two architectural firms: ArchVenture Company Ltd. and Stantec. The companies work reflects the highest standards of excellence in both form and function, says Philip Simon Jr., president and general manager of Royal Beach Club and Royal Caribbean International Bahamas.?
ArchVentures design approach is deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of the Bahamian community, while Stantec will work to incorporate sustainable functionality, and collaborating with them both will result in an experience where true Bahamian charm shines alongside top-notch infrastructural support and engineering, he adds.
Last month, the cruise line announced that it was partnering with Bahamian-owned SEV Consulting Group to conduct environmental monitoring during the construction and operation of the 17-acre beach experience.
The cruise line broke ground on the venue in April.
During the build-out and operation of the new club, Royal Caribbean will focus on six key commitments, including zero waste-to-landfill, renewable energy, no dredging and no overwater cabanas, wastewater treatment, protecting and enhancing the surrounding habitat, and environmental monitoring.
