Royal Caribbean is introducing more ways for vacationers to explore the Mexican Riviera from California.
For the first time, Royal Caribbean will have a home port in San Diego. Beginning in October 2026, Serenade of the Seas will offer 3-, 4- and 7-night sailings from San Diego across the Mexican Riviera. Destinations include Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada and La Paz, Mexicoa new stop for Royal Caribbean, nestled between the Sierra Laguna mountains and the Sea of Cortez in Baja California Sur.
From Los Angeles, Quantum of the Seas will offer 3- and 4-night adventures in the summer 2026 season to destinations including Catalina Island, California, and Ensenada, Mexico. Quantum is also offering 7-night itineraries with overnights in Cabo San Lucas.
Ovation of the Seas will return to Los Angeles for the winter 2026-27 season. Ovation will offer 3-, 4- and 7-night vacations to destinations including Catalina Island and Ensenada, as well as 7-night itineraries that include overnights in Cabo San Lucas.
On Navigator of the Seas from Los Angeles, 7-night itineraries include such Mexican Riviera highlights as Cabo San Lucas, Mazatln and Puerto Vallarta.
Also sailing from Los Angeles during the winter 2026-27 season, Voyager of the Seas will offer 6- to 8-night itineraries to Californias Catalina Island along with Ensenada, Mazatln and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Select itineraries also include overnights in Cabo San Lucas.
Bookings open for Crown & Anchor Society members on Feb. 12 ahead of the official opening on Feb. 13.
