This wave season, Hurtigruten is offering up to $4,000 in savings per person on its three cruises in Norway.?
Travelers can save on Hurtigrutens Original Coastal Express, Svalbard Express and North Cape Express itineraries when they book by March 2024.?
The discounts vary depending on the scheduled sailing dates. Cruisers can save up to $4,000 per person on Svalbard Express cruises from May through September, up to $2,000 off Original Coastal Express trips from April to December and up to $3,000 on North Cape Express sailings between December 2024 and April 2025.
Two of the itinerariesthe Svalbard Express and the North Cape Expressjust launched in 2023 as the company celebrated its 130th anniversary.?
The Svalbard Express travels north from mainland Norway across the Norwegian Sea to Svalbard, a Norwegian-governed archipelago thats near the North Pole. Those sailings are timed to align with the Midnight Sun, when the region experiences 24 hours of daylight. The North Cape Express, meanwhile, gives travelers a chance to see the Northern Lights, which are expected to be especially dazzling as the sun approaches its solar maximum in 2024/25.
Both of those itineraries take place aboard the MS Trollfjord, which was recently renovated.
With our 130-year legacy of sailing the Norwegian coast, no one knows Norway better than Hurtigruten, and no one does Norway better than us, says Carly Biggart, vice president of sales and marketing for Hurtigruten Americas. We offer a distinctively different cruise experience where you travel like a local on small ships, explore gorgeous fjords, visit small, otherwise hard-to-reach towns along the coast, and enjoy lectures on board to learn more about Norwegian traditions, history, and people.
Hurtigrutens sister company, HX, is also offering discounts this wave season. They include up to $2,000 in flight credits, a discounted deposit and additional savings for members of its loyalty club.
