Boutique River Cruises is launching its first-ever itinerary for women
only, which is set to sail through southern France in 2025. This unique departure
will be packed with indulgent experiences like chocolate sampling, wine tasting
and truffle hunting.?
Targeted primarily
at adults and older children, the luxurious river cruise line unveiled its 2025
lineup of special themed cruises just this week. A highlight of the roster, the
new Women-Only
Cruise will take passengers on an eight-day journey through the scenic
regions of Burgundy and Provence, sailing along the Rh?ne and Sa?ne rivers.?
According to
Uniworlds website, the itinerary was thoughtfully curated by "a
passionate team of women" and promises to immerse guests in the rich
cultural and culinary delights of the area. There is currently only one
scheduled departure on August 25, 2025, with fares starting at $4,999 per
person.

"Travelers
have demonstrated an increasing desire for more specialized and unique
experiences, inspiring us to develop a wide range of new themed cruises for
2025," Uniworld's President and CEO, Ellen Bettridge, said in a news
release obtained by USA

Guests aboard the
eight-day sailing will set off from Arles and explore charming towns whose
beauty has historically inspired such great artists as Van Gogh, Czanne and
Gauguin. Along the way, guests will immerse themselves in the regions
gastronomic landscape and engage in idyllic activities like truffle hunting,
lavender weaving, cycling through the picturesque countryside and even
burlesque workshops. The cruise will culminate in the dynamic city of Lyon.
"Bring your
mothers, sisters, adult daughters, best friends or any special women in your
life, or embark on a solo adventure where youre destined to make new friends
during a week of exploration, connection, immersion, relaxation and laughter,"
the website beckons.
In addition to the
women-only cruise, Uniworld has introduced other exciting themed cruises for
2025. One standout is the Music of the Danube voyage, which includes a yodeling
workshop and a special Sound of Music tour in Salzburg. The company is also
offering a new all-inclusive Premium Golf Package as part of its Brilliant
Bordeaux itinerary, featuring rounds at prestigious 18-hole courses like Cabot
Bordeaux and St. Emilion, along with caddy service and gourmet dining.
"From our
first-ever cruise exclusively for women to luxurious, all-inclusive golf
packages, we are expanding our portfolio to further cater to a range of
interests, passions and communities, all while remaining deeply committed to
delivering unforgettable experiences that exceed our guests
expectations," Bettridge said.
In addition to the
new offerings, other themed cruises returning for 2025 will include the
family-oriented Generations Collection, Jewish Heritage Sailings and the Out on
the Rivers itinerary, geared toward LGBTQ+ guests.
