Destinations International, a leading association representing DMOs and CVBs, has partnered with TravelAbility, a leading conference and media company dedicated to advancing accessible travel, to launch an expanded version of the Accessibility Playbook, which provides a toolkit on how destinations can increase accessibility across the board.?
The Accessibility Playbook was originally released in 2023, but has been updated for 2025 and expanded to offer curated resources, technology provider recommendations, new strategies and an AI companion. The Playbook can be used at the city, regional, state or national level.?
The 2025 Accessibility Playbook offers case studies and best practices from destinations around the world; an AI Companion that helps with accessibility strategies; new research about traveler needs and the aging population and much more.?
This years refresh of the Accessibility Playbook delivers what the industry has been asking for: practical steps, vetted tools and real-world success stories, said Jake Steinman, founder & CEO of TravelAbility.
