Starting at 7 p.m., a free two-hour concert takes place in the pavilion at St. John's County Pier Park at St. Augustine Beach. Over the course of the summer, 23 different bands play a wide range of music, including jazz, pop, R & B, oldies, classic rock and country.
It won't be the only music event in town, however. Concerts in the Plaza takes place from June 1 to Aug. 31 on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Plaza de la Constitucin's Gazebo and will also be free, featuring local and regional bands.
Performing arts abound this summer. "The Nance" will be performed at the Limelight Theatre, highlighting the "raucous world of burlesque's heyday" and telling the story of Chauncey Miles.
