On February 12, Israel hosted one of its first major event since the Hamas attacks on October 7 C the Jerusalem Wintertime Festival C which will be followed by the 13th annual Jerusalem Winner Marathon and the Tel Aviv Night Run on March 8 and April 17, respectively.
Prior to these events, the country also hosted the Dead Sea Marathon on February 2, which drew upward of 6,000 participants.?
During this run, we transferred crazy energy to the hostages. Hold on a little longer, dont lose hope. We will bring you home, said Shaul Levy, whose granddaughter, Naama Levy, was taken hostage.

Since the morning of October 7, its as if weve all held our breath in prayerful anticipation, said Eyal Carlin, Israel Ministry of Tourisms Commissioner to North America. Every day since, we have been still prayerful for the hostages return and hopeful for peaceful times again.
And simultaneously, we know we need to begin the process of restoring hope, boosting morale, and returning to the events of daily living," Carlin continued. "These events offer a place of hope that will bring people together for a common purpose C to honor those lost, by living today.
