If you are looking for an adventure destination for your spring break pursuits, maybe you should take a look at San Antonio, Texas.
San Antonio is showing off its adventurous side and trying to entice adrenaline seekers this spring - and there are a lot of activities to back up its claims as the next adventure hot spot.
For example, don't just stroll the city's famous River Walk, see it from a kayak. The southern stretch of the River Walk known as the Mission Reach is a wildflower-lined section that connects four of the city's Spanish colonial missions.
Visitors can also go spelunking. Even first-timers can explore the Natural Bridges Caverns. There's the ultimate underground adventure, which includes climbing, hiking, rappelling and more or just take a walk through the caves to see the towering stone monuments.
If travelers really want to take things up a notch, Texas Hill Country may just be best viewed from the sky and Skydive San Marcos will take you straight to 12,000 feet for thrilling dive you will, likely, never forget.
In addition to caving, kayaking and skydiving, the area boasts more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails as well as a variety of theme parks. If you are looking for a spring break that is a little bit more on the wild side, San Antonio should not be overlooked.
