Mundo Imperial, a leading brand in Mexico's entertainment and hospitality industry, offers its guests an exclusive range of resorts with amenities designed for the whole family.
These include golf courses, sports venues, and congress venues with technology, catering, and world-class facilities. Mundo Imperial's destinations are located in Riviera Diamante Acapulco (Princess, Palace, Pierre Marques), Mrida (Wayam), and Celestn (Xixim) in Yucatn.
The leadership of this hotel brand was evident in the recent Tianguis Turstico Acapulco 2024 (Acapulco 2024 Touristic Tianguis), which showcased the different Mexican destinations. Held in its convention halls, it brought together more than 1,000 buyers and companies from the tourism industry from 43 countries.
During the event, Seyed Rezvani, Managing Director of Mundo Imperial, told TravelPulse that, following Hurricane Otis' devastation, the company has successfully regained its activities by holding congresses and conventions, such as Tianguis Turstico Acapulco 2024, in addition to the Banking Convention and the Open Tennis and Open Paddle Tournaments.

"We opened the Pierre on February 2, for which we enabled a tower of the Princess Hotel for the ATP players and the staff," said the executive. In addition, he stressed that Acapulco had an extraordinary Easter with 95 percent hotel occupancy.
Recovery on the Way
He stressed that the brand's hotels will recover their normal activities in the short term. "By October 25, 100 percent of our inventory will be completely remodeled. Princess will have new infrastructure, new hydraulic, electrical, and hydro-sanitary systems, and a treatment plant so that it will be a much more modern and sustainable hotel," he added.
Rezvani announced that one of its great strengths is its high capacity in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Events (MICE) segment, where they have been active since February 2024. "This has represented, at the destination, more than 143 thousand quarters and an economic spill of more than 93 thousand dollars. It is a total of 44 recovered congresses," said the industry expert, emphasizing that meeting tourism doubles the size of individual tourism.
Seyed Rezvani noted that Mundo Imperial has launched projects like the Princess Hospital as part of its business diversification strategy. "In addition, we are announcing a certified real estate project with hurricane safety."
On the other hand, he commented that international flights are increased from November to March. "We are working with Spanish tour operators to see how we can bring European tourism to the destination, with connections from Cancun to Acapulco because Cancun is the airport with the largest influx of international travel, even more than CDMX.
He also said that the destination has critical approaches with tour operators from the north of the continent, such as Sunwing, the?airline with which they plan to launch the Toronto-Acapulco route.

"We have more than 16 consumption centers with Italian, Asian, French, and Mexican fusion food and seafood, among others."
With the "Stay in one Place at Three" system, Acapulco hotel guests can use the three hotels' amenities and charge their room with restaurant bills. "We have transportation to the golf courses and entertainment centers, in addition to Extasea Park, a theme park with zip lines that I hope will be operating again in six months," says Seyed Rezvani.
Hotels in Mundo Imperial offer state-of-the-art technology, allowing guests and visitors to connect to the high-speed Wi-Fi network with a single click. "We also have cooling towers and what it takes to spend less electricity on pool pumps, elevators, water treatment plants, and water recycling for bathroom use."
