New details are emerging after the Star Wars Celebration Japan event, in which Walt Disney Imagineers Anisha Deshmane and Michael Serna and Matt Martin from Lucasfilm discussed some of the new Star Wars-themed experiences coming soon to the Disney Parks.?
According to the Disney Parks Blog, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests will be able to enjoy a new iteration of the popular Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride starting May 22, 2026. Guests can pick their adventure for the first time, choosing Bespin, Endor and Coruscant. New gameplay includes an opportunity for engineers to talk with Grogu.?
One of the new missions includes The Mandalorian and Grogu, which will debut at the Disney Parks in the United States the same day the movie, The Mandalorian and Grogu, debuts in theaters worldwide. The movie and ride will debut next year.?
Parkgoers who choose the Mandalorian-themed experience will have to team up with Mando and Grogu to track down ex-Imperial officers and pirates on Tatooine in an exclusive story that isnt part of the show or upcoming movie.?
Lastly, BDX Droids are now available at Tokyo Disney Resort and will soon be available for a limited time at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Paris.??
