Officials from the Walt Disney World Resort revealed more
details of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree attraction coming to Frontierland
in 2024.
According to Disney
Worlds official blog, the Country Bears will host a new show that pays
homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville, the country music Mecca.
In addition, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will include
easter eggs throughout the production, including at least one familiar song
that fans who appreciate the attraction will remember.
The Country Bears will also sing new, reinterpreted Disney
tunessuch as the Jungle Book classic?The Bare Necessitiesin different country music genres, including
bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly and more.
To make room for the revamped attraction, Disney announced Grizzly
Hall will be temporarily closed, beginning on January 27, with the overhauled Country
Bear Musical Jamboree scheduled to open to the public later this summer.
The original Country Bear Jamboree show opened on October 1,
1971.
Earlier this month, Disney World revealed that Disney+
subscribers will be eligible
for a free dining plan when they buy a non-discounted four-night, four-day
Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney
Resort hotel and theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option, starting on January
3.
