Travelers planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort will
soon be able to enjoy overhauled and added options when stopping in the Downtown
Disney District.
As part of Downtown Disney Districts west-end expansion,
the California theme park unveiled renderings for the new Parkside Market, a collection
of four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants, all under one roof.
Parkside Market will feature Korean-themed Seoul Sister, Caribbean-inspired
Sip & Sonder, GGs Chicken Shop and a second-story bar with great views of
the district. The area will also become the home of an all-new, two-story Earl
of Sandwich location.
Before the new Earl of Sandwich opens, though, Disneyland has
unveiled a temporary pop-up location coming soon near Star Wars Trading Post
that will feature popular sandwiches, such as The Original 1762, The Full
Montagu and the Holiday Turkey.
In addition to the new Paseo and Cntrico locations coming
to the district later this spring, Disneyland announced a new restaurant,
dubbed Tiendita. The location will offer Chef Gaytns Mexican heritage flavors
on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.
At the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn, travelers can
dance and sing along to various genres of music, including Motown, rock, jazz,
pop, and reggae. The theme park offers an entertainment schedule for seasonal
and specialty performances throughout the year.
Currently, the Downtown Disney District offers unique restaurants,
snack stops, boutiques and entertainment venues, including Splitsville Luxury
Lanes, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Ballast Point Brewing Co., Naples
Ristorante e Bar, Wetzels Pretzel, PANDORA Jewelry, Lovepop, California Sole
and World of Disney.
