The company just revealed a new list of top 100 tournament courses members have access to, dubbed America's Top 100 Tournament Golf Courses You Can Play. GolfPass experts chose participating courses based on factors like tournament histories and past hosting of professional events and golf's biggest tours like the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour.
We love this list because it identifies many of Americas top public and resort courses for their commitment to host premier tournaments, said Jason Scott Deegan, managing editor at GolfPass in a press release. We took into account each courses tournament history, difficulty, stature in the game and came out with an incredible mix of places to play. Its not just about playing where the pros play either. We included top college courses and excellent daily fee courses that host prominent amateur and club pro events, as well.
States with the most ranked courses on the list include California and Florida, both of which include six top tournament courses. Notable venues that made the ranking include Northern Californias Pebble Beach Golf Links and Arnold Palmers Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, to name a few.
