A new Formula 1 attraction is racing into Las
Vegas on March 29, 2025.
In partnership with Round Room Live, the immersive
experience within the 39-acre Grand Prix Plaza features over 100,000 square
feet of adrenaline-fueled entertainment across three attractions.
Home to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, the Grand
Prix Plaza opens to the public for the first time inviting fans to three new F1
attractions:
- F1X: The interactive Formula 1 experience
offers guests a tech-driven journey through a cutting-edge 4D exhibition with
legendary artifacts, iconic F1 cars and hands-on activities where visitors can
design their own virtual F1 car and put it to the test on the virtual track.
- F1 DRIVE: An official F1 karting
attraction takes place on part of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit grid where guests
can experience the speed, sights and sounds of Formula 1 in high-performance
karts with F1-inspired features including an LED steering wheel display and DRS
technology.
- F1HUB: The heart of Grand Prix Plaza features
F1 SIMS, a flagship F1 store and food and beverage offerings at Furel &
Fork.
“Grand Prix Plaza represents a significant investment in the
future of Formula 1 in Las Vegas,” said Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las
Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. and Chief Commercial Officer for Formula 1. “These new
attractions will offer unprecedented access to F1, giving many fans their first
up-close look at a Formula 1 car before stepping into a racing simulator or
even karting on a portion of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.”
She added, “As part of our steadfast commitment to Las
Vegas, we are thrilled to offer significantly discounted pricing to locals so
that Grand Prix Plaza is an easily accessible community asset all year long.
Grand Prix Plaza is one of the jewels of F1 in North America, and we know it
will provide access and experiences that will grow the sport’s fan base.”
Jonathan Linden, Co-CEO of Round Room Live and Producer of
The Formula 1 Exhibition, said, “These new experiences are as close to an F1
race one can get without being a professional driver. This is the largest-scale
F1 exhibition we’ve debuted in North America, and there was no better place to
do it than the home of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Whether you’re a lifelong fan
or new to the grid, this is an inside look at what makes F1 a global phenomenon
- with plenty of thrills along the way.”
Grand Prix Plaza will open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to
10 p.m. and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. Flexible event spaces with
attraction access are available across three building levels and rooftop,
including three new private event spaces - Turn 1 Lounge, Cool Down Room and
GPP Garage that available to rent year-round.
Tickets go on sale March 6, 2025 at 10 p.m. PST and include
special rates for locals, children, seniors and military.
The attraction closes for the season in late summer in
preparation for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with a future reopening date to be
announced.
