Award-winning cruise line MSC Cruises used Sunday night's big stage to debut the brand's new national campaign, Lets Holiday.
The 60-second spot showcased the cruise line's new flagship MSC World Americadebuting April 9, 2025and its unique blend of European style and American comfort with the help of celebrities Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom, who clash cultures during friendly banter aboard an MSC Cruises voyage.?
"This is my first Big Game commercial, and I'm flattered to partner with such a prestigious brand," Bloom said in a statement last month. "MSC World America is full of European style and is perfectly designed for immersive and enriching experiences at sea. I'm excited to share this elegant new ship on America's biggest stage and I'm sure MSC World America will wow holidaymakers of all typesAmericans and Europeans alike."
Suzanne Salas, EVP, Marketing, eCommerce & Sales, MSC Cruises USA, said the goal was to "give America a glimpse of all the unique features our new ship has to offer, through Drew and Orlando's eyes of course."
The Muppets Star in Booking.com's Big Game Ad
Booking.com called upon Tina Fey (and her many versions) in 2024 but opted to bring in the Muppets for 2025.
The online travel agency's 30-second commercial encouraged viewers to get their stay ridiculously right, highlighting the website's ability to find accommodations to suit every type of traveler's need.

Universal Orlando Resort used its Super Bowl LIX ad time to get travelers excited about its new Epic Universe theme park.
Featuring as many as five immersive worlds targeting fans of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo, How to Train Your Dragon and more, Epic Universe is slated to open to guests on May 22, 2025.

Disney Keeps Super Bowl Tradition Alive
As has become Super Bowl tradition, Disney Parks aired a 30-second ad amid the championship celebration touting Walt Disney World Resort as the place to be after the Big Game.
This year's iteration featured Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts' top plays from the team's blowout win, culminating with the narrator asking Hurts what he's going to do next.
"I'm going to Disney World!" a victorious Hurts shouts into the camera.
