With summer about to turn to fall, there are plenty of great getaways that allow you to escape the heat and the "dog days of summer" while enjoying the fresh air of the outdoors. While campgrounds across the country have lots of amenities to keep campers entertained, some top campgrounds are located on or near rivers and offer the always fun activity of tubing.
Tubing is a great way to take in all that the outdoors has to offer while staying cool on the water. Whether floating down river with the whole family or just taking in the scenery with a relaxing and peaceful water experience, tubing is loads of fun and a great way to close out the summer.
