Ocean City, Maryland is surrounded by water so gorgeous, the views are expectedly plentiful.
But the beloved resort town is also home to delicious food, creative brews and good vibes, making it one of the nation's most popular summer destinations.
A select few establishments combine the best of all three.
Fish Tales
Fish Tales is the perfect spot to catch a sunset whether enjoying Ocean City solo, as a couple, group or family.
The waterfront seafood restaurant is located bayside at 22nd street, where highlights include an outdoor playground for kids, a variety of outdoor seating and a dock where guests can watch fishermen at work.
Sit down for a meal if you're hungry or grab a drink from the bar and watch the fishing boats come in from the bay.
Ropewalk
Ropewalk is another fantastic place to take in a summer sunset. Located right on the bay near 82nd Street, this seafood restaurant features an award-winning menu and some of the best views in Ocean City.
Seating is diverse and plentiful here as well so it suits couples, groups and even large families.
In addition to weekend brunch and daily happy hour, Ropewalk offers live entertainment during the summer months, easily transporting you to a relaxing mood.
The Frog Bar & Grill
Situated on the south end of Ocean City overlooking the inlet and Assateague Island, the Frog Bar & Grill boasts arguably the best view in town.
It's always 5 o'clock here so don't be surprised to find a crowd, even in the morning. The Frog Bar is cranking out delicious breakfast options that pair perfectly with hair of the dog. Grab a bar stool, order a drink and stare out the massive windows while the breeze pushes through.
45th Street Taphouse
The Taphouse Bar & Grille boasts multiple locations throughout Ocean City, but the 45th Street location is the best for stellar bayside views.
You'll also find dozens of craft beers on tap, including brews made in-house by Assawoman Bay Brewing Co. Ease in with a pint of the Bayside Blonde or savor the sunset with the award-winning TransPorter.

De Lazy Lizard
This bayside tiki marina and island grille is very similar to Fish Tales: There's a kids play area, plus a dock where boaters and jet skiers can pull up and enjoy unbeatable sunsets.
That said, you'll have a tough time finding a reason to leave regardless of whether stopping in for lunch, dinner or a quick happy hour treat.
Seacrets
No tour of Ocean City's best waterfront hangouts is complete without a trip to Seacrets.
This waterfront restaurant, bar and nightclub has properly been dubbed "Jamaica, USA." While the atmosphere is spectacular day or night, your experience will largely depend on when you visit.
The daytime is perfect for floating with a cocktail in the bay while the night brings endless possibilities from a slew of dance floors and bands playing everything from current hits to the classics.
