LAS VEGAS-This year's Signature Travel Network Sales Meeting & Trade Show opened here at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino with more than 1,350 Signature members representing 94 percent of the group's member agencies.
"Collectively, Signature now generates more than $7 billion in annual travel sales," said Alex Sharpe, Signature president and CEO. "This year's conference theme, Make YOUR Mark, underscores the power of Signature's programs and tools and how everything is designed to let each member's brand shine while helping consultants build even stronger relationships with their clients."
Keynote speakers for the conference include Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures, known for its sustainability-minded, authentic adventures, and Erik Wahl, a graffiti artist, author and entrepreneur.
Signature members will have a choice of more than 60 seminars, including sessions on social media, destination training, niche market sales and digital marketing strategies.
Earlier this week, the group announced the addition of 113 new partners including four cruise lines, three tour operators, three destination specialists, nine tourism boards, three airlines, and 91 hotels and resorts.
Among the new partners are Fathom; Quark Expeditions; Globus, Cosmos and Monograms; Dharma Adventures; Iceland ProCruises; Air New Zealand; Emirates; Zurich Tourism; India Tourism; Dubai Tourism; Chile Tourism Board and Phillipine Department of Tourism.
