"We wanted to
create a residential aesthetic with the timeless sense of luxury that is
uniquely Bellagio,"?said Winston Kong, partner at Champalimaud
Design, in a statement given to?Travel
+ Leisure. "We found inspiration in the colors of Lake Como's
surrounding flora and the classical style of the building's
architecture."?
The revamped rooms
and suites feature a soothing neutral palette punctuated by vibrant touches, all
of which were inspired by the colors of the flora that surrounds Italy Lake
Como region. The combination of soft pinks, pomegranate reds, indigo and golden
hues produces a luxuriously serene escape from the bustling energy of The Strip
outside.?
Custom furnishings
and accent pieces crafted in these colors, designed to evoke Northern Italian
styles, combine with equally refined interior surfaces to produce visually symphonic
spaces. Grey-and-white marble tables provide exquisite centerpieces, while gleaming
white marble vanities anchor the lavish bathrooms. And, all of these posh
appointments are bathed in the refreshing natural light that streams through
expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.
